Additional ICT Qualifications

From 2009, everyone has the chance to study for these - which come out of Pilot in 2010 - and are currently valued at a half-GCSE. Although the Diploma is going the way of many things, the FS qualification is still in there, since it stands alone as well as being part of the outgoing qualification. A handful of half-GCSE quals gained 'in your own time' is no bad thing on a resume that, let's face it, is gonna have to dazzle to help you beat the challenges we're looking at over the next few years. There ARE spaces out there, jobs, apprenticeships, so DON'T be a sissy: be pro-active: think about whether these will help you make your details shine against the competition, and ACT on that decision.

These files are ADDITIONAL to the class support you will receive, not a substitute!

NOTE!!!

This site is designed to support you in your studies, not to be a stand-in for poor attendance. Make sure you check what happened if you must miss a lesson.

You should have a list of the deadlines for your course given to you at the beginning of the course. Make sure that you keep it somewhere safe - but somewhere you can refer to every week to make sure you stay on schedule. If you start to slip - TELL YOUR TEACHER!!!.
